When I am working on a
problem, I never think about beauty........ but when I have finished,
if the solution
is not beautiful, I know it is wrong.

Phase 1: The Design.
We pride ourselves on our ability to sculpt space to suit each client's
needs. Every client brings forth his/her own unique set of circumstances.
It is the job of Thomas Tuttle to glean those particular needs and create
those special dreams. Traffic flow, balance, harmony, symmetry, proportion
are but some of the design elements that must be integrated into every
great solution. What is a great solution? It is the final architectural
package that reflects both the client's requirements and style, while
appearing effortlessly achieved. In the case of an addition or renovation,
the final result is a seamless whole; indistinguishable from its (perhaps)
humble beginnings, that often must be elevated from their original state
in imaginative ways. It is to be judged not as: "Is this the best
that can be done, given all these existing limitations?" but rather:
"How does this solution stand up against a custom-built home with
no such limitations?" In complete re-dos, teardowns or brand new
homes, all the same standards apply. Does this newly completed house,
look, fit and function coherently, designed not by committee during different
time periods, but rather brought together into a unified whole, comfortable
with itself and its owners, both inside and out?
Best use of resources, materials and the client's dollars are always
our primary objectives. In many cases, they overlap. With one eye always
on resale value, "is this home properly suited for its immediate
environment? Is this structure 'low maintenance'? Does it fit the neighborhood?"
Your home, once completed, must feel like it belongs how and where it
stands, and was always meant to be there. Only then, having successfully
met all of these challenges, will your home truly feel like yours-the
one you were meant to discover and enjoy. Tom will be your guide through
this design process.
Now that you, the client, have achieved a total comfort level from a
hands-on 3D virtual reality tour to complete working construction documents
of your newly designed space, what comes next?
Phase 2A: The construction.
Re-Innovations Ltd., the building arm of Thomas Tuttle, will submit best
bids from Tom's own network of subcontractors. With competitive pricing
in hand, You, the client, has the option of using Tom and his team for
the construction phase of your project as well, without the additional
burden to shop for and choose an outside general contractor on your own.
The advantages: 1. One "captain" to steer the ship and rely
upon throughout the entire journey, who shares your pride in its successful
conclusion. 2. One complete package price.
Phase 2B (Alternative) Project Management.
You have decided to go with an outside general contractor, but you are
concerned that many of the details may be lost or misinterpreted along
the way. Tom will act as your project manager to ensure that this project
truly fulfills your dream, from conception to completion.
